Wasn't Moe Greene kinda lame?

First off, this numbskull has got to be the world's worst negotiator. When the meeting started, he tries to pretend that his money-losing hotel was on the up-and-up: "The chef will cook for you special, the dancers will kick your tongue out and your credit is good! Draw chips for all these people so they can play on the house!" Then when the Corleones take this knucklehead to task, he says braindead things like "I buy you out. You don't buy me out." (when everyone knows he's broke!), or "I've talked to Barzini. I can make a deal with him and still keep my hotel!" (out of moronic desperation), and "I'm Moe GREENE! I was makin my bones when you were going out with mere cheerleadas!" Did he really think that he was going to intimidate the Corleones with that nonsense?? LOL Geeez, maybe he should've been a lounge act!!
