I'd lived with my present girlfriend for over 10years. As partners we had 3 successful business's, enjoyed each others company and very seldom argued about work or personal issues. We also had a lot of trust and loyalty for each other. Admittedly we didn't take much special time out but we both seemed happy with that. Now then, had never really been a big thing with my girlfriend and in the early days I put this down to her grieving the loss of her brother to whom she was very close. With everything else been almost perfect I respected this and would happen maybe half a dozen times a year if that, sometimes myself making the advancements sometimes my girlfriend. Last year we invited a new friend into our lives both on a business and personal level. He was a great character and would do anything for either of us and ended up been very close. Then the blow happened. He had been staying over for a few nights and me having trust in both him and my partner left them talking one night and retired to bed. The same night I was suddenly wakened by muffled noises that made my heart sink. I walked into the living room, to see what I really didn't want to see, both of them oblivious to me standing there. I slammed the door to and broke down. Missing out all the detail on arguments etc, I basically threw her out and told her to go and live with her new lover. Days later, my girlfriend admitted that our trusted friend had not made any ual advances, and that it was his presence that wildly turned her on, something she'd never sensed with anyone before. She concluded her confesion by saying she lost total control and just had to have him no matter what. On returning to her new nest she admits this strong magnetic attraction still happens whenever he's around, but thats all. In her words, not mine, he is the lover and has little other qualities, whilst I am her soulmate, her rock, and the person she loves and still fancys but not ually. Can anyone throw some light on this please?. I'm totally stumped to whats happened. Maybe an outsider can draw the conclusion? At the moment we still continue to run our business's but on a half hearted basis.

Do I need to line my chimney to install a fireplace insert?

I have a fireplace with a clay flue. Above the fireplace, below the damper is a heat exchanger to capture heat from the smoke and transfer it to the air blowing through the heat exchanger. The air flows into the heat exchanger from vents below the hearth and comes out above the fireplace after ping through the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger appears to be permanently installed, and a 6" liner will not p through the heat exchanger tubes. Would it be okay to terminate a new 6" liner at a filler plate below the heat exchanger and let the smoke continue up the chimney just like it always has? Would this be a code violation? Do I have any other options, or should I just be happy with the fireplace I have?

So I just checked my SAT scores and I got a 480 in Critical Reading, 500 in Math, and 590 in writing, a total of 1570. For the PSAT I got a 50 in Critical Reading, 50 in Math, and 57 in Writing, a total of 157. I'm a junior, going to be a senior after this summer, and I feel like I'm headed nowhere. For my first 3 years of high school I've kept a grade point average of 3.50. I don't think I'm smart enough for a UC, or even a Cal State, and my SAT/PSAT scores aren't any reurance. What can I do to increase my chances of getting into at least a Cal State?

I am from South Africa, and i don't understand why the American government categorizes people who come from spanish speaking countries as "hispanic". Maybe an American can explain this to me. I don't mess around with diets. I try to eat a balanced diet. I feel like a semi-vegetarian is the healthiest way to eat. I'm not sure how much this will help, but I'm in a library science program right now at Indiana University, and I know a lot of Info Science people who are doing HCI work. Most of them have some good computer background, but there are certainly people picking it up as they go in some of the earlier cles, because some of the info science cles are open to the library science people, and I know that most of us didn't have much in the way of a computer background when we got here. Hopefully you'll get more about experiences, but I think you could certainly do it.

So I've liked this guy for a very (very) long time, and I've known him for a long time too, so we get along great, tease each other in cl, etc. So he asked me to the movies yesterday and i was pumped. What are some really scary movies?

Se7en is great and scariest movie I ever seen!. Need I go on? Alright... Se7en starts off nicely making it look like another day at work. Well it is, but it's the beginning of something big. Not 5min into the movie and we're introduced to the first murder scene which is a obese man with his hands tied together under the table and his face smashed into a pile of noodles. He's obviously dead. The killer in this movie picks his victims according to the seven deadly sins, which if you don't know are: greed, gluttony, lust, pride, wrath, envy, and sloth. The killer is very original in the style he kills his victims, which are often times very gruesome. Although they don't really show any killings in here just the way they implied lust was enough to turn my stomach. The movie does a great job with its dark setting and bad neighborhood. Symbolic that this city sucks and is run down. The acting by Mordan Freeman and Brad Pitt is sensational, as well as Kevin Spacy's acting, whom I praise for his role. Overall this is one of the scariest movies I've ever seen, and the ending... oh buddy, the ending will getcha.

I am the group owner of a site. My moderator oversees all messages and activites. Without my knowlege she edited a message of a moderated problem-making member by deleting a portion of the message which mentioned another member by name because she felt it was insulting to the mentioned member. Is this wrong? The moderated member is furious and is harring me with his expectations to have the original memo posted to the site with an apology from the moderator. He also expects the moderator to devise a plan so posts will never be edited again in this way. He demanded the moderator to announce her plan to the group otherwise he will take legal action. HELP!!! I don't know what to do.

Is it really necessary that I play sports to get into college?

I don't play organized team sports. Never have and I seriously doubt I will. It's unnecessary. I don't have a problem with weight I'm actually on the slender side. Should I ever have a problem with fitness, I can hit the gym or run some laps. Secondly, I suck at all sports. I've tried every single one I can think of and there are none that I can really try out for that won't make me look like an idiot. I don't need friends, I have plenty so why should I join a sports team just to make new ones? I really love to dance and I tap dance and am planning to become a cheerleader 10th grade year. What I'm asking is: Is it really necessary to play a sport to get into your desired university? I'd love to attend New York University, Colombia, or Penn State. Maybe a college here in Mississippi. All I'm saying is I don't see how sports especially ones I do not enjoy will benefit me personally in the long run. Sooo I'll have had my current youtube account for 7 months on May 20th. I use to make videos about celebrities and I now have 158 subscribers. Well I've always liked this one cartoon show and I downloaded some episodes and stuff but I never really made videos about it. Anyway, just recently I've realized that all the celebs I make videos about are really bad influences or bad rolemodels and so on, so I decided I wanted to quit vidding about celebrities and to just vid about the cartoon. The problem is, almost all 158 subscribers I have are subscribed for celebrity videos, so there really isn't a point of HAVING the subscribers since they either won't watch or won't get my new videos. Plus I don't want to watcn any more celebrity videos, so I unsubsrcibed from about 190 people, only staying subscribed to those who make videos of my fave cartoon. I really don't want to tell my subscribers what's going on cuz some of them are really annoying and will try to make me continue my celeb vidding or theyll get mad because I unsubscribed and such. Plus, all the popular youtube video makers (like mileysnuggle and about 10 others) are leaving or already HAVE left because they lost their video clips, their computers crashed, personal reasons, etc. So it's not like I'm the only person quitting. So my question is: should I delete my current youtube account, the one that has all the irritating subscribers and drama and stuff, and just make a new account that is just for my cartoon videos? Help !! Should I give up on him?

When he knew I like him he asked me out. I said yes but when one of my best friends found out and she was saying "ewww" and all that because she was saying she doesn't want me to go out with him. I think he was sad about what happened so he told me that we should just be friends and I agreed with it. It is just very bad parenting to lie to a child and tell them that a fictional character is real. santa, god, allah, tooth fairy, easter bunny, zeus, jesus christ. These are all fictional characters that we have been told were real. This is how you raise your children to become mentally ill adults. I always knew there was no santa and no god. This definitely helped me set my life straight at an early age. It is never god or santa it is always the real people who are there for you. More often than not, it is really our parents doing all that stuff for you. It is extremely wasteful to give any love and appreciation to something that does not exist. That is why it is extremely important to drop all these imaginary friends (god, santa, tooth fairy, jesus christ, etc) and start appreciating and loving the real people who are there for us every day :). Laptop problems (sudden crashes)?

My roommate and I are best friends and having been living together for about 2 years now. We both either have or have had long term girl friends. Hi! I'm from NC also. (: I think you have a chance, but not necessarily a good chance. My best friend had a 3.9 GPA (4.67 weighted), Governor's School, vice president of Beta Club, president of Book Club, 2280/2400 SAT score, 6 total AP cles with 5s on all of them. She only got one B in her entire high school career. 2nd generation student, white, rural southern town and very competitive high school. Despite all of this, she was rejected from Yale AND even Duke. So, I think you have good grades, but you really need to do something ridiculously amazing in terms of extra-curricular activities that no other student or very few students would have done (like raising $10,000 for charity or something). So perhaps consider doing something like that to help boost your chances. Otherwise, keep doing what you're doing - take AP/honors cles and do well in them and on the AP exams. Get your GPA as high as possible. And lastly, remember you can always transfer in to one of these universities if you're rejected as a freshman applicant. Hope this helped!
