Is it really worth it to visit the Chatuchak wekeend market in Bangkok?

I only have a few days in Bangkok so I want to allot it well. I wnat to spend one day just shopping. Would it be a wiser choice to just check out the Siam Center/MBK area or is it really worth it to go to the Chatuchak weekend market? are they far from each other or can I visit both areas in one day? Thanks!
