Does gas fireplace ember material have to be made by the same company as the fireplace it's used in?

I have a Majestic fireplace which calls for part #51915K for replacement ember material. Unfortunately there are no Majestic dealers in the area (Las Vegas, NV) and I can't find anyplace online that sells Majestic ember material. I did find 1 or 2 places that sold ember online, but it was made by a different company. Does this matter? Can I use any gas fireplace ember material?
