Ben gibbard song help?

i've been a dedicated listener to both death cab for cutie and postal service for quite some time now.. i think ben has wonderful lyrics. his whole band does, but i am under the impression gibbard writes most of them.. anywho, my best friend doesnt like them! but i knoooow. she would if she just started listening with the right songs. and i cant sift through all the songs i know, for there are far too many, and i would like to know. can someone perhaps come up with a song or two with lyricss toward the sad side of the emotion scale? something about love, loss, or something along those lines. even something with great imagery. please and thank you!
